Let’s get cooking!

September 24, 2014 By Rebecca Leave a Comment

I have recently decided to start blogging about some of the food that I’m cooking.

Over the last few years, my cooking dwindled due to having a tiny kitchen and because I was dealing with some major life changes and, frankly, my motivation just wasn’t there.

With my recent move to a great new apartment (with a much better kitchen and even a gas hob) I’ve made the commitment to cook healthier and tastier meals. I’ve already cooked a number of awesome meals (verified by others, not just me tooting my own horn – though I’m doing that too!) and it has inspired me to start keeping a record of my cooking endeavors. It’s my hope that this will help me to become a better cook, to enable me to share successful recipes, learn from my errors and create a record of what I’ve been cooking. I should warn you though – I’m not a professional cook and so cannot be held liable if your dish doesn’t taste as good as mine did! I’ll always give feedback on my dishes though, so you can see my honest thoughts on how the dish turned out.

I’ll also be keeping my eyes open for new recipe ideas, so if you have a recipe you want me to try out, send me an email at Rebecca@capturethewonders.com. So, with that in mind, let’s get cooking!

Mmm, pasta!

ABOUT ME

Hi, I'm Rebecca!
For as long as I can remember, I've dreamed of adventure and rebelled against the idea that life should follow some sort of pre-determined path. That's why, at the age of 18, I moved half-way around the world from Canada to the UK in search of new experiences. Since then, I’ve lived in three countries and travelled to nearly 20. My goal is to experience as much of the world as I can and to lead a location independent lifestyle. This blog will document my journey and, hopefully, inspire you to achieve your own goals.
